Video Editor

Your Role:

Ellislaine is seeking an experienced Remote Video Editor to support our production team on a subcontractor basis. This role is ideal for a skilled editor who can turn well-organized footage into polished, engaging videos that reflect each client’s brand and objectives.

You will collaborate closely with our internal creative team to produce both long- and short-form content for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate works independently, communicates proactively, and consistently delivers high-quality edits on schedule.

Job Type: Remote | Subcontractor

Wage: Project-based or hourly, depending on experience

Who this is for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit professional quality videos for client and internal projects

• Edit multi-camera source sequences with clean sync and organized timelines

• Produce short-form social content including vertical reels

• Edit podcast episodes for YouTube and social platforms

• Apply color correction and grading for visual consistency

• Mix and balance dialogue, music, and sound

• Deliver platform-optimized exports for social, web, and YouTube

• Maintain organized project files and workflows

• Communicate proactively about timelines and revisions

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Experience editing multi-camera footage

• Experience creating short-form social content

• Solid understanding of color correction and audio mixing

• Ability to work from brand guidelines and creative direction

• Reliable internet connection and remote workflow capability

Portfolio Submission (Required - please include)

• Multi-camera edits, such as podcast or interview style

• Social media vertical videos

• Horizontal long-form or commercial-style videos

• Showcase editing quality, pacing, polish, and storytelling across your work
